Position Title: Lead DSP
Reports To: Nursing Staff / LALD
Classification: Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Lead DSP provides direct resident care while leading and supporting Resident Assistants to ensure quality services and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Assign tasks and support Resident Assistant staff.
- Monitor the resident’s condition and report changes.
- Assist with training and onboarding of staff.
- Promote teamwork and communication.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living or caregiving.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
